DNA Diagnostics Centre (DDC) established in 1995 has assisted in public understanding through articles, interviews, reports and scientific papers in relation to DNA relationship testing. We continue to work alongside the media throughout Ireland in aiding journalists with information and insights in to raising understanding and awareness on this technology.

Individuals undertaking a DNA test can potentially have an emotional impact to the lives of the child involved and to those partaking. Those considering taking a test should think about the potential outcome and we urge you to think about this before beginning this procedure.
